It's Thursday! That means I'm 7 weeks pregnant now!! I love Thursdays!!
I just read that this week my baby will be developing hands and feet and is now the size of a blueberry!! ...much better than last week when he was a lentil; I have no idea what I lentil is, but a blueberry I can picture.
So that's the cool stuff... in other news, I was sure the nausea would not happen to me, but I was oh so very wrong! I threw up last Friday for the first time and pulled a muscle in my jaw which hurt so bad that I couldn't eat anything all day Friday and only soups on Saturday. (that made for an interesting anniversary weekend.) But I guess I'm doing ok with it now. I'm starting to get used to feeling a little bit nauseous all day and also the exhaustion that sets in around 11:00am. So far I haven't thrown up since that awful Friday morning, PRAISE GOD!, and have just adjusted my eating habits so that whether I'm hungry or not I'm snacking at least every 2 hours. It's a little bit crazy, but I'm sure that I'm filling out my jeans more because of it.
But I do get excited now and again because I know that all this sickness and exhaustion means our precious little angel is developing quite nicely inside me! :) And I have to remember to praise God for that and just continue to seek His strength and comfort to walk through it.
